This is (currently) the only 5* hotel in Clark, Pampanga. As such it is natural for you to expect the very best service, amenities, comfort and cleanliness. And in certain aspects the Clark Marriott Hotel delivers – at a price!

Rooms
Exceptionally clean, secure and quiet. Super showers, very hot water, highly quality linen, furniture and bedding. Excellent, attentive housekeeping staff. Good levels of soundproofing. This is to be expected (even demanded?) as the Marriott Hotel Clark room rates are at the high end.
Pool & Gym
Pool is nice for cooling off. Not big enough for serious swimmers. Gym has mixture of cardio machines and Nautilus multi-gym equipment. Nice Steam & Sauna rooms. Clean, modern and usually not busy, which is ideal as isn’t a large space.
Dining
Surprisingly, our visits to Clark Marriott Hotel, Pampanga have left us underwhelmed. Whilst the reception, administrative and conference staff are excellent, we have found the service in the various restaurants inattentive, staff less well trained, lacking in knowledge of the menus and not particularly alert. And why do the waiting staff always insist on trying to sit you in the middle of the restaurant when there are plenty of more relaxed window tables available? We think they just want to save some walking – it’s a case of what’s best for them, not you.
Having dined in all the restaurants on numerous occasions, we have found that although dishes are presented well, they are either bland or over-seasoned. Do the chef’s have a love affair with salt?
Goji Kitchen – Main Restaurant
The Marriott Hotel Clark all-in-one buffet style is a good breakfast option for resident guests and visitors. However, unless you wish to take advantage of the all-in-one buffet rates and gorge yourself on food that’s been sitting around for ages, during the day it is best to eat locally elsewhere.
- Fish & Chips: Soggy batter, tasteless fish, over-salted Chips.
- Pasta: Always over cooked, glutenous and sticky. Bland & tasteless sauces.
- Buffet: Food that’s drying up, lukewarm at best, bland. Cold cuts & cheese your best option here!
Noodle Inc.
After reading all the Clark Marriott Hotel blurb listing Noodle Inc. as a ‘restaurant’ you would rightly expect this to be an an actual restaurant. It isn’t. It is merely a corner space of the Goji Kitchen main restaurant with a few high tables and chairs thrown-in for good measure. The Noodle dishes are very average and nothing to get excited about. You will probably get more ‘excited’ about your bill when you see how much you’ve been charged for what is essentially (very) average street food in luxury surroundings.
Smoki Moto – Korean
A superior dining option to the Goji Kitchen main restaurant. Food is tastier and although advertised as casual dining the overall atmosphere is relaxed and less canteen style than the main Goji Kitchen restaurant. Worth a visit early evenings.
The Lounge
This is basically eating food in the Clark Marriott Hotel Lobby. Why anyone would want to do this is beyond us. Don’t.
Urban Coffee
Situated in a thoroughfare of the hotel there is neither privacy or peace. If you enjoy overpriced lukewarm coffee and the feeling of drinking it in a shop window – this place might be perfect for you, otherwise take a walk outside and patronise an independent coffee shop.
Events
The Clark Marriott Hotel is an excellent venue for corporate and special events. They possess a wide selection of equipment, catering facilities and breakout rooms. Event function staff are well trained, flexible and organised. The hotel is also well connected with independent event companies when specialised equipment is required.
For product launches, corporate seminars, weddings and anniversary events the Clark Marriott Hotel is an excellent high-end choice. Ample secure underground car parking is available for all but the very largest gatherings. The kitchens are capable of catering to large numbers.
